The Skyline Races Half Marathon and 30K brings runners to the top of Billings’ legendary Rimrocks for a race like no other. Experience Montana’s wide-open beauty on a paved path of moderate elevation changes that makes it ideal for both competitive athletes and first-time half-marathoners or 30K participants. Featuring breathtaking views of the Yellowstone Valley and the Beartooth Mountains, the Skyline Trail section travels along a sandstone ridge, offering sweeping panoramic views. Runners then connect to Skyway Drive, a newer path with gentle curves, rolling hills, open terrain, and distant mountain backdrops. Both distances loop into the Alkali Creek Trail, following a shaded stretch along the creek before heading back toward the finish line at Two Moon Park.

Skyline Trail (first parking lot west of N. 27th St roundabout) - No cars will be allowed at this parking lot. Participants will be bused to the parking lot.

Parking:
All participants park at Centennial Ice Arena, 427 Bench Bvld. Half marathon runners will be bused from Centennial Ice Arena to the Start. Buses leave at 7:00 a.m.
All participants receive a Skyline Trail Half Marathon and 30K finisher medal, custom race shirt, on-course support, and entry to the post-race celebration at the finish.
