Course Description
The Skyline Trail section travels along a sandstone ridge known locally as the Rimrocks, offering sweeping panoramic views. Runners then connect to Skyway Drive, a newer trail with gentle curves, open terrain, and distant mountain backdrops.
Both distances loop into the Alkali Creek Trail, following a shaded stretch along the creek before climbing back toward the finish line. The route is mostly paved with gravel at Two Moon Park and moderate elevation changes that make it ideal for both competitive athletes and first-time half-marathoners or 30K participants.
· Half Marathon (13.1 miles): A challenging yet approachable out-and-back style loop with rolling terrain.
· 30K (18.6 miles): Extends the course with additional elevation and distance — perfect for those training toward a marathon or ultra.
Aid stations with water, electrolytes, and basic nutrition will be positioned approximately every 2–3 miles.
